how we started
30 years ago, after several years of dedicated service in a landscaping company, Eduardo Anaya Sr. made the courageous decision to step away from his supervisory role and pursue his dream of entrepreneurship. With a family to support and an unwavering commitment to the American Dream, he embarked on an uncertain journey in the landscaping industry.
Mr. Anaya relied on timeless values of hard work, integrity, and an indomitable spirit to forge his own path and establish his maintenance route. When asked about his dream by a client, his response was simple yet profound: "To work 7 days a week."

These days, Mr. Anaya no longer works seven days a week, but there were times when he did. Presently, he enjoys a more relaxed pace, having fulfilled his dream of expanding his maintenance route to provide for his family. Three decades later, his perspective has evolved, his sons are grown men, and he recognizes that a more significant dream has also come to fruition. He has molded his two sons into honest, hardworking, college-educated individuals, all thanks to his landscaping maintenance route.
For Mr. Anaya, seeing both of his sons graduate from prestigious academic institutions, Allegheny College and Chapman University, has reshaped his understanding of achieving the American Dream. He has nurtured a promising next generation of Anayas’.
what lies ahead
Shortly after graduating from Allegheny College with a degree in Environmental Science and Economics, Eduardo Jr. presented a transformative proposal to his father, suggesting an expansion of business into landscape construction, professional landscape management and arbor care. Eduardo Sr. initially had reservations, but after careful consideration, he placed his trust in his son to lead the business into the future. His response was simply,
"You lead us."
Eduardo Jr.'s unwavering determination is driven by a deep-seated desire to achieve what he believes surpasses even his ancestors' wildest dreams. In 2018, Eduardo's visionary ideas gave birth to Artisan Landscape. Now, it is Eduardo's turn to carry the torch and pursue his own American Dream.
